Agenda Items
  • What needs to change on the website?
  • Calendars -1 district wide, school wide all events, athletics? What do we use Google calendar, edline, other?
  • People and process – who is responsible for what?
  • Important information – how does this get out in a timely manner ..when is removed in a timely manner?
  • Infrastructure – duplicate info, searches inefficient

Minutes
  • Tim will check in with Daystar about redirecting the sau50/rye/ pages to our own domains (ryejrhigh.org and ryeelementary.org)
  • Have a Rye District web page for:
    • a depository for any duplicate information,
    • calendar
  • Calendars for both schools
    • Central point person? Tim and Judy will work on this.
    • Purpose - scheduling only; events; Teams can have their own calendars - not incorporated in this.
    • Link for PHS events
  • Infrastructure
    • Change menus to buttons
    • Change
      • eliminate Weather and Emergency Alerts
      • both schools will fine tune what's needed; create a site map first as a suggestion.
      • Decide on quicklinks for community or for staff?

  • Change photo on email web page - Tim will ask to change it, but he needs a photo.
  • Pictures for the website. Tim will check with Daystar if we can have an upload feature and a slide show widget.
